Prof. Dr.-Ing. Claudiu Pozna

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Claudiu Pozna received the Dipl.-Eng. degree and the Ph.D. degree in robotics from Transilvania University of Brasov, Romania, in 1990 and 1998, respectively, and the Habilitation degree in informatics from the Szecheny Istvan University, Gyor, Hungary, in 2013. He is currently with the Szecheny Istvan University, Gyor, Hungary, and with the Transilvania University of Brasov, Romania, where he became a Professor in 2013. He held several Visiting Professor positions with the IUT Metz, France, in 2001, the Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK, in 2002, and the Hochschule Heilbronn, Germany, from 2004 to 2005. Currently he is the coordinator of the bachelor study program "Robotics" at Transilvania University of Brasov. He is also an Editor of the Journal of Advanced Computational Intelligence and Intelligent Informatics, Fuji Technology Press, Japan. Claudiu has published more than 150 papers in refereed journals, refereed conference proceedings, and contributions to books. His current research interests cover artificial intelligence, robotics, and control engineering. He is a member of IEEE and of the Romanian Society of Control Engineering and Technical Informatics (SRAIT).
