Drd. Ing. Liviu Alexandru Marina
Transilvania University of Brasov

Ing. Liviu Alexandru Marina received the Bachelor's Degree in Control Engineering and Computer Science from the Transilvania University of Brasov, Romania, in 2010, and the Master’s degree in Advance Control Systems and Information Technology from the same university in 2012. Since October 2015 he is a Ph.D. student at Transilvania University of Brasov, Systems Engineering field. His main areas of interest are Deep Neural Networks applications for autonomous driving field, artificial intelligence and object detection and recognition. During the university, he participated in the Scientific Sessions, with the studies "Robust Control Systems. Linear Quadratic Gaussian Control" and "Smith Predictor for Hybrid Remote Control Systems”

Since 2016: Researcher at the ROVIS Lab at the Institute of Automation, Transilvania University of Brasov, Romania.
Since October 2015: PhD. student - Systems Engineering Domain, Transilvania University of Brasov, Romania.
Since January 2017: RnD Engineer for AI projects – Driver Assistance Domains, Elektrobit Automotive Romania.
Since February 2015: Software Engineer – Navigation and Driver Assistance Domains, Elektrobit Automotive Romania.
